MARGAO: Vasco police yesterday recovered the weapon that allegedly was used to murder the Maruti van driver Sudan Dabhole from Uccasaim-Bardez from the site of the murder at Consua-Nagoa.
A police team headed by Vasco PI Sagar Ekoskar took the accused Mohammad Immadar Ali to Consua where the driver was murdered and managed to recover the knife from the bushes situated in the isolated area.
PI Ekoskar also took another accused Jha yesterday to Canaguinim, Betul so as to recover the firearm used by the accused to fire at the police. However, police were unable to recover the firearm the search continues.
